Mary L. (Marble) Tervo of Clinton, MA passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 4, 2018 at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln. Born in Fitchburg and raised in Lancaster, Mary was the daughter of the late John I. and Catherine H. (Dinneen) Marble. Mary was a graduate of Nashoba Regional High school and later attended classes at Brandeis University. She was married, raised two children and held various jobs being proudest of her work at the former Hospice at Mission Hill for AIDS patients and at McLean Hospital. She enjoyed the outdoors, no matter what the season, through long walks, cross country skiing, ice skating, swimming, gardening and hours spent on ocean beaches as well as surf fishing. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Fort Pond where she grew up. Mary loved to cook, always looking for and trying new recipes to awaken the palates of family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children, David A. Tervo of Stow, Tracey L. Duggan and her husband Mark T. of Bolton; grandchildren Candace and Matthew Duggan and great grandson Jace Grant. She leaves her siblings, Martha E. Moore of Lancaster, Mark C. and his wife Nancy of Athol, Margaret M. Marble of Leominster, Francis X. Marble of Athol; 13 nieces and nephews, 9 grand nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. She is predeceased by her sister, Catherine A. Marble and brothers Stephen J. and John F. Marble.vA celebration of her life will be held on Sunday July 22, 2018 at Kaleva Lodge, 32 Perry Rd, Lancaster from 1 to 4pm.
