In Taunton, July 13, 2018, Cesar F. Aguiar, Age 74, passed away in Morton Hospital while surrounded by his loving family following a lengthy illness. Cesar is survived by his beloved wife Denise (Correia) Aguiar. He was born in Santa Barbara, St. Michael, Portugal, the son of the late Antonio & Maria I. (Fonseca) Aguiar. Cesar had resided in Taunton the past fifty years and was formerly of Fall River. He was employed at the Swank Inc. in Attleboro for thirty years. He enjoyed classic muscle cars, collecting antique tractors, gardening, animals and above all cherished his time with family. In addition to his wife, Cesar leaves his children, Nellie Smith of Norton, Steven Aguiar of Taunton and Denise Carty and her husband Philip of Scituate, MA. He also leaves his grandchildren, Kyle Smith and Taylor and Ryan Carty. Cesar leaves his siblings, Jessie Aguiar of Somerset, Guilherme Aguiar of Fall River, Gilbert Aguiar of FL, Maria Medeiros of Fall River and the late Antone, John and Joseph Aguiar. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Thursday, July 19th at 9am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Annunciation of the Lord Church in Taunton at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday from 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
