Paula R. (Rogers) Zofrea, 64, of Derry, NH, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. She was born in Portage, WI on April 29, 1954, a daughter of the late John and Winnefrid (Kimball) Rogers. Paula graduated from UMass with her Bachelor’s degree and later received her Master’s Degree from Lesley University. She was a teacher at Chester Academy, with a passion for writing and language arts. Paula was an avid reader and writer. She was an incredible human being and will be missed by the many lives she touched.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Matthew Zofrea, three daughters and sons-in-law, Jaclyn and Justin Pratt, Katherine and Jeremy Helbig, and Kelly and Benjamin McDaniel; one granddaughter, Annabelle Pratt, a brother, John Rogers, four sisters, Marge Gustavsen, Christine Daly, Mary Carlin, and Kim Owens; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 3 – 7pm with a service of remembrance at 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the American Red Cross .
