Obituary

Command Master Chief William Lee Belzer, Jr., USN, Ret. passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 at the age of 75.
Master Chief Belzer moved to Yulee 28 years ago from Virginia Beach, VA. He served 31 years with the U. S. Navy from 1959 until 1990. At the time of his retirement was a Hull Tech, HTCM. He enjoyed fishing and building model trains.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Barbara Belzer of Yulee, FL; a son, William J. Belzer, also of Yulee; a daughter, Tracy Paugh (Ryan) of Fernandina Beach, FL; step son, Michael Edenfield; two sisters, Sandra Sikorski of Yulee, Rosealee Belzer, of Yulee; his brother, Maurice Belzer, also of Yulee; and three grandchildren, Michael Dippy, Katelyn Paugh and Gary Paugh; and four nieces.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery on Tuesday, July 17, at 11:30 a.m. Those attending should park in Lane number 3 at the national cemetery staging area.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Green Pine Funeral Home.
