Noreen E. “Noah” (Connell) Taranto, age 56, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly, Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. Noah was the loving wife for 30 years of Eric Taranto. Born in Winchester, she was the daughter of Noreen E. (Johnson) Connell of Marshfield and the late James E. Connell Jr. She was raised and educated in Marshfield and received degrees from Fisher College in Boston, University of Massachusetts in Amherst and Massasoit Community College in Brockton. At the time of her passing, she had been a private home care provider, and previously enjoyed working as a Nanny. A proud twelve year survivor of Breast Cancer, she authored a book titled Why Not Me?.
Noah was the ultimate mother, loving, positive, thoughtful and selfless. She enjoyed yoga, traveling, baking, listening to music and fundraising for causes she believed in. She loved being a wife and mother and her family was her greatest joy.
Noah is survived by her husband Eric of Mansfield, her sons Zachary of Providence, RI, Clay of Middleboro and Troy of Mansfield; her siblings Cara Blumenschein and her husband Bill of Allison Park, PA, Kenan Connell of Marshfield and Julie Rae and her husband Steve of Walpole and daughter-in-law of Ron and Carol Taranto of Mansfield. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St, (Rte 123) Brockton on Sunday, July 15, 11am-2pm with a funeral service at 2pm.
