DONNELLY, Carole F. (Poole) 78, a resident of Framingham and Selden, NY (native of Dedham), passed away on July 7, 2018. Cherished daughter of the late Mary Estelle (Cook) and Donald R. Poole. Beloved mother of Janine Carey and her husband Stephen of Stow, MA. Sister of Donald Poole of FL, Lawrence Poole of Dedham, and Lynne Rosenberg of Natick. Cherished grandmother of Madison, Lexie, and Chloe Carey. Loving aunt to many nephews and nieces.
Carole graduated from Bridgewater State College. She had a successful career as a teacher in the Sachem school district on Long Island, NY for over 35 years. She was an avid reader, talented knitter, lover of dogs and cats, and an enthusiastic shopper. Spending summer vacations on the Cape with her family brought her great joy.
A visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Thursday, July 12 from 11:00am-1:00pm followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00pm. Rev. Kevin Crispell will officiate. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
