Patricia M. “Patti” Cleary, age 86, a long time resident of Brockton, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Easton, MA. Born on Valentine’s Day in 1932, Patti was the daughter of James W. and Theresa M. (Cronin) Cleary.
Patti graduated from Brockton High School in 1950 and received her laboratory technician certification from New England Sinai Hospital. She worked at Cambridge Hospital for many years until her retirement.
Patti was an avid skier and member of the Brockton Ski Club. She really enjoyed skiing in Europe and the fellowship of the Ski Club, trying to earn the most points by skiing more mountains than the other club members. She also enjoyed taking day trips with her mother and going to the Cape Cod beaches.
Patti is her survived by her nephew, Billy Cleary and family, all of whom live in the Fort Worth/Dallas, TX area and her cousins Howard Holmes, Susan Holmes and Janet Marvin and family.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St (Rte 123), Brockton on Tuesday, July 17, 9-10am, followed by a funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10:30am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
