Corey A. Baird, age 41, of Halifax, formerly of Norton, passed away accidentally on Monday, July 2, 2018. He was the beloved and cherished son of Karen A. (Allard) Baird of Halifax.
Born in Attleboro, MA on October 14, 1976, Corey grew up and was educated in Norton. He had made his home in Halifax for the past two years.
A truck driver, Corey had been employed for the past three years for DC Contractors in Raynham. He had previously driven for Prosser General Contracting in Norton, G. Lopes in Taunton and for Dunkin Donuts. He had also worked as a driver and mechanic for the former DD Mobile Repair in Norton and as a tow truck driver for Mike’s Mobil in Attleboro.
Corey loved spending time with his daughter, family, and friends and was definitely the “life of the party”. He treasured his Harley-Davidson, was a member of the Taunton Gun Club, and will be sadly missed by his devoted dogs “Chaos” and “Havoc”.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his cherished daughter Kaylee E. Baird of Halifax. He was the adoring nephew of Sandra Carusone and her husband Chuck of Norton and auntie Ree Marie Henry of New York. He was the dear grandson of Leonard Baird, and is also survived by his loving cousins.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday, July 9th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton. Burial will be private.
