Mary E. “Molly” (Devine) Murphy age 85, of Quincy, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018. Mary was the loving wife of the late Charles Murphy and is survived by her devoted children, Theresa Hennegan and her husband Edward of Weymouth, Geraldine MacAuley and her husband John J. of Dorchester and Charles J. Murphy of Marshfield. She also leaves her grandchildren, Sean Hennegan and Christine Hennegan both of Weymouth and Laura MacAuley of Weymouth and John MacAuley of Dorchester.
Mary was born, raised and educated in South Boston where she resided for most of her life. Later, she lived at 1000 Artery in Quincy for 10 years. Molly was a bank clerk at the Bank of Boston for 20 years before retiring in 1998.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours for Molly on Monday, July 9 from 9-11 AM in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth. A Funeral Service in Molly’s memory will immediately follow the visiting hours at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the New Calvary Cemetery in Boston.
