Josephine M. Imbornone, 94, of Manchester, NH, passed away on Wednesday July 4, 2018. When Josie was born in Chelsea, MA on March 17, 1924, she joined a family of six brothers and six sisters as the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Sperenza) Pappalardo. Most recently, Josie has been residing in Manchester, NH and is a former longtime resident of Everett, MA. Josephine loved Italian cooking, baking lemon cookies, feeding her family and playing Bingo.
She is survived by three sons, Joseph Dasaro of Londonderry, NH, Paul Dasaro of Manchester, and Kenneth Dasaro of Concord, NH; one daughter, Gail Seaman of Derry, NH; 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Driscoll, and Janette Mili both of Medford, MA. She was predeceased by her husband, Dominic Imbornone, and by six brothers and three sisters.
Calling hours were held on Sunday, July 8th from 4 - 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Funeral services were held on Monday at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial followed in Pillsbury Cemetery, Hovey Rd., Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, MA/NH Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
