BIDDEFORD- After a long and courageous battle with lung disease, Tammy Diffin passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends at the Gosnell House on July 1st (her mother’s birthday). She is predeceased by her parents, Lorraine and Allie Diffin, Sr, step-father Ora Pennington, Jr, niece Melissa Diffin and long-time companion Alfred Moore, Sr.
Tammy is survived by her daughter Selena Diffin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, son Robbie Palmer of Portland, Maine and his son Gabriel,son James Bore of Perry, Maine, his wife Crystal and their children, Cassandra, Audrina, J.J. and Justin,son Al moore of Portland, Maine, daughter Amanda Moore of Portland, Maine and her daughter Alley. She is also survived by 4 sisters (one of which is her twin Terry), 3 brothers, their spouses, nieces, nephews and large extended family.
Tammy was born on July 13th 1962 , and grew up on the West End in Portland, Maine. She graduated from Portland High School, class of 1980. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends,Facetiming and playing with her grandchildren, taking selfies, posting on Facebook, going to the Brunswick and drinking Red Rose Tea.
Tammy’s favorite saying was “I love yas to the moon and back, beyond infinity, around the universe”. Stay West End Strong Tammy- Later!
A celebration of her life will be held at the American Legion 17 Dunn Street, Westbrook, Maine, on Friday July 6th from 12:30pm-4:30pm. Burial will be private.
