Anthony L. “Tony” Merolla 50, of Bellingham, died suddenly, Saturday June 30, 2018.
Born November 18, 1967 in the Bronx, New York, a son of Bernard A. “Bernie” Merolla of Franklin and Rosemarie M. (DiSanza) Horsman of Utah, he was a former longtime Franklin resident.
He was raised and educated in Franklin and was a graduate of Franklin High School. Tony worked as a painter in the local area.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, listening to rock music and cheering for the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He also was known to enjoy a good meal.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter Allexis J. Sloan of Franklin, 2 brothers, Raymond M. Merolla and his wife Jun of California, Jerffey S. Merolla and his wife Dina of Franklin, a sister, Anne M. Spera and her husband Michael of Bellingham.
Also surviving a niece, Carlie Merolla and nephews, Michael P. Spera, Jr., Nicholas J. Merolla and Ray M. Merolla, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours Monday July 9th. from 5-8PM at the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St.
His funeral service and interment will be held privately.
