Marie (Tyschuk) Bevilacqua, 91, of Tewksbury died on Sunday, July 1, from complications of Alzheimer's. Born and raised in Boston's West End, she was the daughter of the late David and Irene (Myhal) Tyschuk. Marie lived for many years in Somerville and Winchester before moving to Peregrine Senior Living in 2014.
Marie was the beloved wife of the late Carl Anthony Bevilacqua, and the dear sister of Anne and her late husband Warren C. Malatesta of Medford, and Nellie Benson of Somerville. She was the loving aunt of Warren D. Malatesta of Billerica, Julie Wasserman and her husband Jay of Cambridge, and Alan C. Malatesta of Medford, and the great aunt of David J. Wasserman.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford Street, Somerville, on Friday, July 6 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford from 9:30 through 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
