Shrewsbury—Thomas A. Vitikos, 88, also known as Tom Vito, died Monday, November 21, 2005, in his home. His wife Dagne E. (Lindquist) Vitikos, died in August. He leaves 2 daughters, Terri D. Vitikos of Webster and Diane M. Belsito of Fitchburg; 4 grandchildren, Deanne Keddy of Barre, Thomas J. Vitikos of Webster, James C. Belsito of Worcester, and Thomas J. Belsito of Dudley; and 6 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. He was born in Worcester, son of Angelo and Fanny (Xenos) Vitikos and graduated from the Greek Academy. He was owner of Vito Wholesale Florists on Austin Street in Worcester for 43 years, retiring 23 years ago. He was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral and a member of the board of directors of the former Freedom Federal Savings Bank. He was an accomplished ballroom dancer with his wife Dagne and won many awards for their professional art of dance.

Private funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 10 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery. Flowers may be sent or donations made to St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell St., Worcester MA 01609.
