Peter B. Longobardi 70, of Franklin, died suddenly at home, Friday June 29, 2018.
Born January 30, 1948, in Milford, a son of the late Fred A. and Louise R. (Arbia) Longobardi, he was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Peter was raised and educated in Franklin and was a 1965 graduate of Franklin High School. He continued his education at Holy Cross College in Worcester and received his bachelor’s degree in economics and received his Master’s in business administration from Columbia University in New York.
Peter was a co-owner of the family run Medway Lumber and Home Supply Company for over 40 years.
He was devoted to his family, friends and customers and enjoyed gardening and tinkering around his house.
Peter is survived by his twin brother Paul A. Longobardi and his wife Joanne of Franklin, a sister Marilyn A. Cataldo of Wrentham, his nieces & nephews, Peter Cataldo, Jr., Paul Cataldo, Mary Murphy, Annemarie Cataldo, Paul A. Longobardi, Jr., and Pamela Longobardi. Also surviving are 12 great nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Fred D. Longobardi.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass Tuesday July 3rd, at 11AM in St. Jude’s Church 86 Main St. Norfolk. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.
