SANFORD- Francis Roland Martell, age 70, passed away on June 29, 2018 at his home in Sanford with family at his side.
He was born in Limerick on May 23, 1948, a son of the late Lewis and Florence (Lane) Martell.
He graduated from Limerick High School and later graduated from the New Brunswick Bible Institute and the Child Evangelism Institute.
Over the years, Francis worked for companies such as Aerofab, Wasco, and Sagoma Plastics.
Francis is predeceased by his parents and a brother- David L. Martell.
He is survived by his wife- Dorothy (Williams) Martell; children- Crystal J. Martell, Jonathan L. Martell, Timothy L. Martell, and Joshua C. Martell; brothers- Raymond E. Martell, and Leo E. Martell; sisters- Leona D. Cavaliere, Marjorie Carter, and Linda M. Fenderson; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday evening, July 2, at 6 PM at the Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St., Cornish. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 10 at Oakdale Cemetery in Sanford. Online condolence messages can be submitted at www.mainefuneral.com
