Ann was born and raised in Brockton, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Lina A. (Neri) Cifelli. She was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1945 and received her secretarial degree from Chandler School for Women in Boston. For over 10 years, Ann worked in the Admissions office at Bridgewater State College with a group of people she truly enjoyed.
Ann took joy in various activities with her large circle of friends including socializing, dining, antiquing, attending lectures and museums, and simply playing scrabble and cards. She was an avid reader, a history buff, and she loved to attend Italian language classes, strengthening her ability to speak and understand her first language. She traveled extensively, visiting many places including Italy, Greece, England, Panama, Turkey, Egypt, Canada and many parts of the US. Ann also enjoyed keeping up with current affairs and politics. Family, however, is what Ann cherished most. She loved time spent with her sons and grandchildren, as well as her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ann is survived by her sons Robert V. Fay and his wife Judith of Hatfield, PA and Stephen A. Fay and his husband Jim Roberts of Lowell and her grandchildren Emily K. Fay of Portland, OR and Brian P. Fay of West Goshen, PA.
