Eliot Flores, of Brighton, passed away on Monday, June 25th at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He was 39.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Olga Flores, and attended local schools.
Eliot worked as a cook at Babson College and enjoyed serving the students, faculty and staff. In his spare time, Eliot loved being with his family. He was a loving and devoted husband and father and cherished the time he spent with them. He enjoyed sports and his favorite teams were the New England Patriots and the Minnesota Twins. Eliot was a martial artist for the last 20 years and proudly earned his brown belt. Eliot was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all the lives he touched.
Eliot was the beloved husband of Barbie (Riviera) Flores, with whom he shared many loving years of marriage. He was the loving and devoted father of Eliezer J., Eliany A., Hermione, Yessenia M., and Yamilette A. Flores, all of Brighton. Eliot was the dear brother of Jose L. Ortiz and his wife Betty of Lawrence, Yolanda Lopez and her husband Amilcar of Brockton, Wanda Ortiz and her partner Ivan Avila of Lynn, Alberto L. Ortiz and his wife Danielle Lozzi of Lawrence. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford, on Tuesday, July 3rd at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Arlington.
