Edward “Ted” Cooke, 71, of Smithfield, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care in Providence. He was the fiancee of Brenda Machon and the husband of the late Doreen Cooke and Christine A. Cooke.
Ted had worked for the Town of Smithfield as the Building Official until his retirement in 2004. He was an active and loyal member of the Smithfield Lodge of Elks #2359 where he had held many offices.
Ted is survived by his children: Melanie J. Craig, and her partner Wendy A. Richard's of New Glocester, Maine and Matthew S. Craig, and his wife Melanie L. Craig of Beavercreek, Ohio, Rhonda L. Civitarese of Florida, Cheryl A. Vandall of Westport, and his pride and joy's, his four grandsons: Bradan, Mason, Brycan and Ryan his siblings: Virginia Carnivel of Westport, Richard E. Cooke and Robert Cooke, both of Smithfield.
