Angie Maria (Grillo) Maggiotta, of Somerville, formerly of Boston’s North End, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 27th at the Emerson Hospital in Concord. She was 93.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Gaspare and Maria (Canzoneri) Grillo. Angie was the beloved wife of Leonard B. Maggiotta, with whom she shared 65 loving years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Janice M. Fairchild and her husband Steve of Acton, and the loving grandmother of Alex S. and Mark A. Fairchild, both of Acton. Angie is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, on Monday, July 2nd at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. At the family’s request, visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, Malden.
