Worcester - Rita J. Gervais, 92, of Worcester died Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Worcester a daughter of Eugene and Florida Gervais, she was a lifelong resident of the city. She leaves two nieces, Nancy M. Gervais of Worcester and Theresa Milkman of Brookfield; two nephews, Norman Forgit of Hanson and John Forgit of Shoreham, VT; several cousins and friends who became her extended family. She was predeceased by her brother Eugene Gervais and sister Aileen Forgit.
Rita worked at Table Talk Pie Company for thirty years. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Church in Worcester. Rita's family would like to thank the third-floor staff at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, for the wonderful care of their beloved aunt.
Rita's funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:30 am in St. Joseph Church of Holy Family Parish on 35 Hamilton St. Worcester followed by a burial in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in DIRSA-MORIN Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St. will be Friday June 29, 2018 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
