Eleanor B. Mahoney
Manchester, NH – Eleanor B. Mahoney, 94, died June 26, 2018 at Villa Crest Retirement Community following a brief illness.
She was born in Andover MA. on September 9, 1923, the daughter of Peter and Helen (Downs) Doherty.
Eleanor, a longtime member of Meadowbrook Country Club in Reading, MA was an avid golfer and tennis player.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Charles G. Mahoney.
Family members include three sons, and a daughter: Michael Mahoney of New Bedford MA; Maureen Wheatcraft and her husband, Dave of Rumney, NH; Mark Mahoney of CO; and Daniel Mahoney and his wife Colleen of Manchester, NH. Eleanor had four grandchildren; Keith, Kevin, Brian, Aubrie, and one great grandchild, her namesake, Eleanor.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
