William “Paul” Blalock, 62, of Tifton passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2018, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Terrell Roberts officiating. Mr. Blalock will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 1, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Blalock’s nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Born April 7, 1956 in Jacksonville, Florida, Mr. Blalock was the son of Juanita Jordan Blalock of Tifton and the late William Walter Blalock. Before retiring, he was employed as a technician at Shaw Industries in Tifton and he was of the Catholic faith. In high school, he played wide receiver with the Tift County Blue Devils. He loved to fish; loved NASCAR and went every year to Daytona. He loved his family, especially his grandkids and had lived in Tifton for the past 61 years.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Blalock is survived by two daughters, Rosa Lynne Harrelson and Cassandra Faye Blalock, both of Tifton; three brothers, Mike Blalock of Moultrie, Chris Blalock of Augusta and Rick Blalock of Tifton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Michele and Bobby Walker of Enigma and Anita and Alvin Brown of Leesburg; and five grandchildren, Alysse Harrelson, Maci Harrelson, Casslynne Blalock, Jonathan Blalock and Callie Rogers.
