Mike Sadler, 58, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla, with the Rev. Ike Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Irwinville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening, at funeral home in Ocilla.
Mr. Sadler was born in Tifton, Georgia on May 16, 1960, to the late Joe Thomas Sadler and Carolyn Cathon McCurdy. Mr. Sadler moved to Irwin County in 1996, coming from California. He was an assistant manager at the Pizza Hut in Tifton. He loved fishing, traveling, Georgia Bulldogs, Nascar, and the Atlanta Braves. He loved his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lupe Sadler of Irwin County; Children, Sam Barrios & Jessica of Irwin County, Adrianna Sadler & Hank Crumbley of Lowndes County, Sophia Fletcher & Jason of Irwin County, Stephanie Sadler of Irwin County, Jessica Sadler & Dana West of Irwin County, and Andrew Sadler of Irwin County; Sixteen Grandchildren; Sisters, Donna Scharf of Decatur, Illinois, and Debbie Sadler of California. He was preceded in death a son, Joseph Michael Sadler, granddaughter, Haley Fletcher, and sister, Sherrie Sadler, and a brother, Randy Sadler.
