Nell Pearman Harrell, 87, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Navicent Health in Macon. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Chula, with the Rev. Larry Layfield and the Rev. Paul Day officiating. Mrs. Harrell will be laid to rest at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Chula. The family will receive friends Friday, June 29, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Loo Loosier, Josh Loosier, Austin Pereira, Jason Vinson, Chris Best and Buddy Clements will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Chula.
Born March 2, 1931 in Tift County, Mrs. Harrell was the daughter of the late Hoke S. Pearman and Gladys Cromer Pearman. She was also preceded in death by one son, Donnie Lee Harrell; one sister, Yvonne Pearman Clements; and one brother, Virgil Lee Pearman. Before retiring, she was employed with Tift Regional Medical Center and she was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Chula.
Mrs. Harrell is survived by her husband Foy Harrell of Tifton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Grant Loosier of Macon and Vickie and Alex Pereira of Melbourne, Florida; one brother, Raymond S. Pearman of Wilmington, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Grant Lafayette Loosier, Joshua Patrick Loosier, Victoria Loosier Vinson, Alexis Pereira Best and Austin Alexander Pereira; and four great-grandchildren, Tristan Loosier, Bayliegh Loosier, Maxwell Loosier and Samuel Loosier.
