BEDFORD: Charles A. Snow, Jr. age 83, a former Tewksbury, Woburn and North Reading resident, passed away at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial V.A. Hospital in Bedford on Sunday, June 24, 2018.
He was the beloved husband of Carol (Akers) Snow, who passed away on August 6, 2012.
Born in Boston on August 8, 1934, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Velma (Kenney) Snow.
Charlie was raised in the Dorchester area of Boston, where he attended local schools and graduated from Dorchester High School.
In 1955, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served aboard the U.S.S. Thaddeus Parker.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a banker by Baybank in Burlington, where he worked for over 25 years.
He was the father of Charles R. Snow and his wife Cathleen of Woburn, Heidi Snow, Holly Innerfield and her husband Jerry of Weare, NH, and Barry Mark Snow of Ostrander, OH. Grandfather of Richard Snow and his fiancé Lauren Boyle of Billerica, William and Daniel Snow both of Woburn, Jason, Samantha, and Nathan Innerfield of Weare, NH. Great Grandfather of Carley, Daniel, Jr., Madison, and Charles. Brother of Beatrice Snow of Woburn, and the late Velma J. Goode.
Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service on Friday, June 29, at 11 a.m. at the Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East St., Tewksbury. Please Omit Flowers. Donations in his memory may be made to the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial V.A. Hospital, 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA 01730
