Michelle Lawton, 73, of New Bedford died peacefully at her home on Wednesday June 13, 2018.
Born February 18, 1945 in New Bedford, she lived in Taunton until moving back to New Bedford in 1981. She was a long-time employee of Lifestream.
Michelle’s friends and family will remember her for her mischievousness and her smile. She loved to keep active, taking walks and enjoying the outdoors. She enjoyed singing and listening to big band music, Linda Ronstadt, and Patsy Kline. Long known for her sense of humor, Michelle was prone to bouts of silliness that would get everyone laughing.
Michelle’s life wasn’t easy. She experienced many hard times, but through it all, Michelle taught us that we can see past the difficulties and find joy in our lives.
Michelle will be remembered with love by her close friends: Lori LeComte, David & Jacquie Ashley, Mark, Jarrod and Danielle LeComte of New Bedford, Valerie Ashley of West Greenwich, RI, Nancy Kocur of North Dartmouth, and Scott Ashley of Colchester, CT.
Private services will be held. Heartfelt appreciation to Rick at Saunders-Dwyer Funeral Home for his support and guidance.
