It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Randolph E. Helie, 67, of Londonderry, NH due to complications of cancer.
Randy was born in Manchester, NH on March 29, 1951 and lived most of his life in Londonderry. He graduated from Bishop Bradley High School in 1969 & attended Keene State College. Randy worked for WorkPlace Systems in Londonderry for 43 years, retiring in 2016.
Randy was an avid hunter, traveling to Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Anticosti Island, Alaska and moose hunting in Quebec. He enjoyed walks in the woods and just being outdoors. Randy was an avid runner, having completed 7 Boston Marathons. He enjoyed sitting on the beach at Totem Pole Park on Ossipee Lake in Freedom, NH where he had a summer camp.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patrice (LaSalle) Helie of Londonderry, two daughters, Stephanie (Helie) Eddy and husband Mike of Quincy, MA and Shannon Helie of Manchester; two grandchildren, Peyton and Gage Eddy, three sisters, Shirley Bouchard of Pembroke, NH, Claudette Goudreau of Manchester and Susan Lord of Londonderry; mother-in-law Jeanne LaSalle as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours were held on Monday, June 25th from 11 am – 1 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Memorial services followed at 1:00pm in the funeral home.
