Claire A. Ross, 85, of Derry NH, died Saturday June 16, 2018 at All American Assisted Living, Londonderry, NH. She was born in Quincy, MA on July 23, 1932, a daughter of the late Herbert and Janet (Tellier) Nelsson. She had been a resident of Derry for close to 60 years, formerly living in Quincy, MA. Mrs. Ross had been employed at Hadco Printer Circuits in Derry for 18 years retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed reading, cooking and gardening.
Claire is survived by two sons, Malcolm W. Ross, and William D. Ross and his wife Deborah; two daughters, Gail A. Rhames and her husband David, Cynthia L. Collins and her husband Patrick; three grandchildren Ian Rhames and his wife Kaitlyn, Christopher Rhames and Heather Ross; a brother Karl Nelsson and his wife Freda. Claire was predeceased by her husband Robert W. Ross and three sisters Jeanette (Nette), Audrey and Patricia.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd Londonderry. Funeral services were held on Friday at 11:00am in the funeral home. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery in East Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice of NH 25 Nashua Rd Unit E3 Londonderry NH 03053.
