Theresa E. Renaud, 81, of Swansea, peacefully passed away at home on Monday, June 18, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Alcide and Etta (Bowers) Renaud.
Miss Renaud was born in Fall River and had been a longtime resident of Swansea. Prior to her retirement, she worked as the manager for over 30 years at the former Bradlees Department Store, Somerset. She enjoyed Bingo and was always willing to give a helping hand to her friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her dear friend Karen who she considered to be her daughter.
Survivors include her son: James D. Renaud of Swansea; her daughter: Loretta L. Barreto of FL; a brother: Richard Renaud of CA; best friend: Karen Desjarlais and her children Katie and Kara; 3 grandchildren; John O'Connell, Courtney O'Connell and Keith Barreto; 2 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Alcide Renaud Jr. and Roger Renaud.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Potter Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from 10-11 A.M., prior to the service.
Interment to follow in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
