In East Taunton, June 16, 2018 Albert R. Reed, Age 76, passed away at home unexpectedly following a lengthy illness. Albert was the husband of the late Eileen Medeiros. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Charles & Vera (Smith) Reed. Albert resided in East Taunton the past 40 years and was formerly of Raynham. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Albert was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Preston Hathaway. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, entering dog shows with his Bloodhounds and spending time with his family. Albert leaves his siblings, Loretta Hughes of Attleboro, Marilyn Oliver of Raynham, Charles Reed of Attleboro, John Reed of Taunton and the late Louise Murby. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at the Bourne National Cemetery on Wednesday, June 27th at 10:45am.
