James Edward Howard, 84, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at The Navicent Medical Center In Macon.
James was born on November 24, 1933 to the late Addie P. and Minnie Lee Pate Howard. He served his country with honor in the United States Army. He was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dottie Marie Wilson Howard of the Irwinville Community in Chula; children, Teresa D. Butler of Tifton, Dona Marie Barrett of Ty Ty, Rex M. Johnson, Jr. of Gadsden, Alabama and Melinda L. Batal of Athens; sister, Louise H. Hickman of Ashburn; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Avery and his brothers, Roger Howard, A. P. "Buck" Howard and Gerald Wayne Howard.
At the request of Mr. Howard, no services will be held.
