Holly M. (Bearse) Hamilton, after 66, of Raynham, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was the beloved wife of Lester J. Hamilton, to whom she was wed on March 30, 1996.
Born in Taunton, MA on January 9, 1952, she was a loving daughter of the late Selwyn F. Bearse and Ellen L. (Williams) Hathaway.
Holly grew up in Taunton, and Berkley and was educated in Berkley schools. She had made her home in Raynham for the past twenty years, serving as a past president of the Pine Hills Estates Homeowners Association and as a Notary Public.
Mrs. Hamilton was a woman of great compassion. She demonstrated her affection of helping others as a former Activities Assistant at the Life Care Center in Raynham. She had also helped her husband Lester in the day-to-day operation of the Hamilton Dental Laboratory in Stoughton.
Holly loved spending time amongst family and friends alike. When younger, she enjoyed skiing and bowling and will always be remembered for her love of animals.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children Seth Martin of Taunton, Deborah Flanagan and her husband Kevin of Taunton and Timothy Hamilton of Taunton. She was the cherished grandmother of Tyler, Matthew, Caitlyn, Aaron and Rebeka. She was the dear sister of the late Selwyn Bearse, and is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and faithful dog “Jack”
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of her life to be held at a later time and place to be announced. Burial will be private.
