Rose M. (Millette) Hooper, 89, a resident of Medway since 1960, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the Timothy Daniels House in Holliston. She was the beloved wife of Earl W. Hooper who died in 2015.
Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on December 17, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Elizabeth R. (Flood) Millette.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Hooper worked at the Brian Moore Travel Agency for 5 years. She had previously worked as a waitress at the former Fernandes Supermarket in Medway for many years.
Mrs. Hooper loved spending time with her family, enjoyed camping and going to the casino. She was an avid painter and was an active member of the Medway Senior Center.
She is survived by her children; Carol Griffin and her husband Norman of Bellingham, Robin Ravida of Attleboro, Diane Hooper Albano of Delmar, New York, Stephen O’Neill of Medway, David O’Neill of Medway, Donna Cassidy and husband James of Medway and John O’Neill of Millis and was predeceased by her sons, Robert and Daniel O'Neill.
She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, her sister Dorothy Nolan of Pawtucket and three nieces.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) on Monday, June 18 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Monday morning from 9 - 11 a.m.
