SPENCER: Dorothy A. (Sheehan) Laliberte, 83, formerly of 95 Smithville Rd., died Sunday, June 10 in the Jewish Healthcare Center, Worcester.
She was the wife of Norman L. Laliberte, Sr. who died in 2015. She leaves her two sons Norman L. Laliberte, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Jefferson and Kenneth F. Laliberte and his wife Heidi of Spencer, her daughters Anne-Marie Moran and her husband William of Holden and Cynthia J. Bliss and her husband Ken of W.Brookfield, a sister Helen Shute of Grafton, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a sister Mary McCarthy in 2017.
Dorothy was a waitress at the former Doray's Restaurant in Spencer for many years prior to its closing.
Born in Worcester she was the daughter of James C. and Theresa (Brown) Sheehan and later graduated from Commerce High in Worcester. She was a member of Mary,Queen of the Rosary Parish and along with her husband she belonged and was very active with the Spencer Fish & Game Club.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the caring staff at the Jewish Healthcare Center and especially Amanda.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, June 28 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later time.
