Carl Richard Godfrey Edwards, 61 of Provincetown, passed away in his sleep at home, Thursday, June 7, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife, Rosemarie Edwards, in October of 2016.
Carl was born in Brooklyn, NY and came to Provincetown at age 14, in 1971 . He went to Provincetown High School, and after high school, worked at odd jobs around town, including George's Pizza. He was known as the man in the white truck. He was adopted by his father, John Godfrey Davis Edwards at that time.
Carl collected masks, curios and art. He found many treasures left on the side of the road. He had quite a collection of curios.
In addition to his father John, of Provincetown, he is survived by his uncle Jim Zimmerman of Provincetown, uncles Richard Heidelmark of Gainesville FL, Alan Uffenheimer of Albuquerque NM, and Ken Uffenheimer of California. He is also survived by sisters Sonja Senecal and Sharon Zawaduk, brothers Kevin Littlefield, and Christopher Wilson of Provincetown, along with George Senecal, Robert Barker, Michael Clinton, Dan Walters, Peter Walters, Arron Walters, Joshua Johnson, Major Christopher O' Donnell, and 15 cousins. He is also survived by his friend Greg Mac Cuish.
Carl is now with his wife, Rosemarie.
