Douglas E. Haskell, 44, of Lakeville died June 4, 2018 unexpectedly at home.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Elizabeth A. (Wilber) Haskell of East Freetown and the late Clifford F. Haskell, he lived in East Freetown and Lakeville most of his life.
He was a member of the Christian Fellowship Center.
Doug was formerly employed as a cable technician for many years.
He enjoyed watching his daughter's softball games, the outdoors, fishing, being on the water, cooking and his Jeep.
Survivors include his mother; 2 daughters, Taylor Haskell and Madison Haskell; 2 brothers, Gary Haskell of Florida and Bruce Haskell of East Freetown; 2 sisters, Cheryl Horsley of Virginia and Tracey Russell of North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 1st at 3 PM in the Christian Fellowship Center, 822 Church St., New Bedford. Arrangements are with the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
