"Worcester: Laura A. Novoa, 41, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 in Bay State Medical Center, Springfield surrounded by her loving family. A strong willed woman of perseverance and tenacity. Intelligent, bold, beautiful, and above all else committed to the pursuit of happiness which she found most in the pieces of her she left to continue her legacy as well as create their own, her five beloved children; Moises, Laura, Jacob, Myasia, and Jordan.
Laura was born in Philadelphia, PA to her mother Agapita Garcia and loving father Jesus Novoa . Alongside many achievements she earned her Bachelor's Degree from Worcester State College and worked as a social worker at The south Middlesex Opportunity Council in Framingham. She also worked as a realtor and occasionally volunteered for the red cross. She truly was a beacon of light for many and in death will continue to be so.
