BARRE: Norma H. (Shepardson) Brousseau, 71, of Old Petersham Road, formerly of Leicester, died Wednesday, June 6 in UMASS Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in a car accident in Leicester on May 31, 2018. Her son died 33 years ago to the day of a car accident which claimed his life.
She leaves her husband of 49 years, Wilfred P. Brousseau, Sr., two sons Wilfred P. "Bill" Brousseau, Jr. and his significant other Dawn Reeks of Worcester, Christopher J. Brousseau and his wife Laurie of Oakham, a daughter Bonnie L. Currie and her husband Darrell of Oxford, her father Andrew Shepardson of Barre, a sister Clara Baldwin of Chicopee, 9 grandchildren; Patrick, Felicia, Mark, Michael, Jennifer, Natasha, Nicole, Andrew & Christi, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son Mark J. Brousseau.
Norma was born in Holden, daughter of the late Clara (Smith) Shepardson. She was a personal care assistant for several years before retiring. She loved reading, yard sales and taking long car rides. She was a loving mother and wife and was most happy when spending time with her family and her pets.
The funeral will be held Saturday, June 16 from MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours are Friday, June 15 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home.
