WORCESTER-Bernard P. McPadden, 90 formerly of 3 Glade Street died Monday, June 17th in Saint Vincent Hospital. He leaves 2 cousins, Mary Lennon and Catherine Smith both of Worcester; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was born in Worcester son of John J. and Bessie E. (Clynch) McPadden and lived in Worcester all his life. He was a WWII Army veteran. Mr. McPadden worked as a cableman for U.S. Steel Company for 40 years before retiring.
The funeral will be held Friday, June 21st from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a mass at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 600 Cambridge Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM the morning of the funeral.
