Fleurette A. (Cayer) Moreau, 92 passed away peacefully on May 17, 2018 at her daughters home surrounded by family. Born on August 1, 1925 to the late Willie and Anita (St Cyr) Cayer. Fleurette worked as a foreman at Sickles making radios for the war. She worked at Baystate Medical Center for several years and held several positions before retiring from the mailroom. In her leisure time she enjoyed her grandchildren, sewing and reading. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Roland J. Moreau, her brother Roger L. Cayer of New York and a sister Sylveine Cayer who passed away as a toddler. She is survived by her sister Georgette D. Russell of Westfield and a sister in law Catherine Cayer of NY; a son Kenneth R. Moreau of Florida and a daughter Donna M. Mason and her husband Scott of Chicopee; three grandchildren Adam Davies. Kelly Mazza and Brenton Moreau; two step grandsons Christopher and Scott Mason; 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Special thanks to all her family and friends who gave her a fulfilled life and her aids and hospice nurses who gave her comfort. Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home for both Fleurette and Roland. Burial will follow for both in Calvary Cemetery.
