Veronica R. ‘Ronnie’ (Hudec) Jolicoeur, 89, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Overlook Masonic Healthcare Center in Charlton. Her husband of 41 years, Hervey J. Jolicoeur died in 2001.
She leaves a son, Kevin J. Jolicoeur and his wife Cathy of Charlton, 2 sisters; Rose Gaumond of Southbridge and Stella Borawski of Utah, a daughter in law Barbara of CA., many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson Steven who died in 1978 and her husband’s children, Donald, Janet and Paula. Ronnie was also predeceased by her brother John Hudec and sisters; Anne Strenk, Agatha Werstak and Margaret Kruger.
Veronica was born and raised in Webster, the daughter of the late Gaspar and Veronica (Kasik) Hudec and was a 1946 graduate of Bartlett High School, she then lived many years in Worcester before moving to Charlton.
Ronnie worked in the medical records department at U.Mass. Hospital and prior to that worked for Rexnord in Worcester.
She enjoyed gardening. The past two years she enjoyed visits with her sister Rose. Kovu and Beth were a joy to many while they visited with Ronnie at the Overlook.
Ronnie’s Funeral Mass will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 10 H-Putnam Rd., Ext. in Charlton. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster St. in Worcester.
A calling hour will be from 9-10 AM prior to the Mass (At the Church).
