Dr. Harry C. Stearns, III, 67, of Gorham, passed away on June 1, 2018. He was born in Chicago, IL on June 28, 1950 the son of Harry C. Stearns, II and Mary (Gotman) Stearns and was raised in Riverside, IL. He went to medical school at the University of Illinois and became an Orthopedic Surgeon. Court came to the Berlin area in the 1980’s where he practiced orthopedic medicine at the St. Luke Medical Center and at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. He had also practiced for 6 years in Rapid City, SD. He was a musician, pilot and loved to hunt. Court had served on the Gorham Police Department as an auxiliary police officer, was a former medical examiner for northern New Hampshire and enjoyed being part of the Warden’s Wonder Camp Crew.
He is survived by his wife Lois J. (Carrigan) Stearns of Gorham, NH; son Ryan Perrault of Kenai, AK; daughter Jamy Gillis and husband Derell of Grenada, MS; grandchildren Malik and Bianca; sister Nina Windsor and husband Bob of Arkansas; and several in-laws Lynn Dube, Leslie Hill, Lana Dupuis and husband Bob, Charles Carrigan and wife Trisha, Craig Carrigan and wife Jeanne and Leah Bouchard and husband Mark; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave, Berlin on Thursday June 7, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
