Dianna K. "Dee" (Yoakum) Silvia, 71, of Westport, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Frank Silvia, Jr.
Mrs. Silvia was born in Des Moines, IA, daughter of the late Marvin and Mabel (Entwistle) Yoakum and had been a longtime resident of Westport. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a teacher's aide for Westport Community Schools. She enjoyed crafting and participating in the Annual Church Bazaar, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors along with her husband include her son: Michael Silvia and his wife Kristina of Westport; 2 daughters: Kathie Silvia of Dartmouth and Toni-Ann Nunes of Warwick; a brother: Conley W. Entwistle of CA; a sister: Vicki L. Markley of CO; 8 grandchildren: Jared, Corey, Christopher, Samantha, Shelby, Charlotte, Tyler and Riley; and with many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Ronald W. Wood and sister of the late Connie Barbieri and Marilyn Yoakum.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Potter Funeral Home at 11 A.M.
Visitation will be from 9:30 11 A.M., prior to the service.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
