Michael J. Cunningham, 65, of Derry, NH, died Thursday May 31, 2018, in his home. He was born in Lawrence, MA on September 23, 1952, a son of the late William and Eva (Goyette) Cunningham. Michael was an avid Boston sports fan and greatly enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. He was very fond of fishing and being in nature, but his greatest joy was his family. He was happiest when surrounded by those he loved.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Ann Marie (Poremba) Cunningham; daughter, Cara Miller and husband Eddie of North Andover, MA; granddaughter, Michaela Miller; step-granddaughter, Madison; twin brother, Patrick Cunningham of St Lucie, FL; brother, William Cunningham and wife Bonnie of Brooksville, FL; sister, Pamela Cunningham of Hampstead, NH; sister-in-law, Kathy and her husband Pepper and his loving nieces and nephews, Joe, Jeff, Kathi, Mike, Steve, Greg, Kim, Jenn, Sean and Kristen.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am in the funeral home followed by burial in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Rd., East Derry.
