CHICOPEE ~ Lucille Mary “Lucy” (Daudelin) Reniewicz, 88, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, May 31, 2018. She passed into Eternal Life at home surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Northfield, Vermont on August 11, 1929, a beloved daughter of the late Calixte and Josephine (Roberts) Daudelin. She was raised in Northfield and later lived in Holyoke, graduating from the old Holyoke High School and had lived in Fairview for many years. She was employed as a computer assembler for many years at Digital Equipment Corporation in Westfield. She enjoyed playing bingo, visiting the casinos and bowling. Above all, her favorite time was spent with her family and most especially with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend, Edward P. ”Charlie” Reniewicz, Jr. who was Called Home on October 7, 1994; her loving daughter, Deborah Lee Reniewicz; and her seven dear brothers and sisters. She leaves her four loving children, Edward P. Reniewicz, III of Chicopee, Steven A. Reniewicz and his wife, Amy, of Norway, ME, Cheryl A. Dompierre and her husband, Alan, of Auburn, NH and Thomas R. Reniewicz and Gayle Nakano-Kim of Chicopee; her seven cherished grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; her dear sister, Irene Chagnon of Chicopee; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of Reniewicz and Daudelin families.
