New Bedford – Thomas J. "Tommy" Nadeau, 41, of New Bedford passed away unexpectedly on May 21, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved son of Roberta G. (Sturgeon) Nadeau.
Thomas was born in New Bedford and resided in the city most of his life. He attended Kennedy Donovan Center for 13 years and was currently attending Community Connections of Fairhaven where he had many friends. He enjoyed traveling, long rides, fishing, guitars, magazines and ice road truckers. He loved country music, especially Dolly Parton. He loved spending time with his family, especially his Uncle Mark and Aunt Oletta. Thomas will be remembered by many for his infectious smile.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by several aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was the loving grandson of the late Alice (Medeiros) Sturgeon Pierce.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road New Bedford on June 3, 2018, 2:00-3:30 P.M. followed immediately by a memorial service at 3:30 P.M. Burial will be private.
