Margaret M. (Kelly) Monteiro, 49, of Westport, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018. She was the daughter of Mary Margaret (Dalton) Kelly of Westport and the late John B. Kelly.
Ms. Monteiro was born in Fall River and had resided in Westport for most of her life. She enjoyed reading mystery novels and doing jigsaw puzzles. Most of all, she loved doting on her granddaughter.
Along with her mother survivors include her 3 daughters: Amanda Silva, Alyssa Silva, Rachel Silva (significant other Chi-Afanyi Tashi) all of Westport, a brother: John B. Kelly, Jr. of Westport; 2 sisters: Elizabeth K. Washburn (husband Richard) of Westport and Kathleen L. Arvisais (husband Kevin) of Fall River; her granddaughter: Riley-Jane Tashi; niece: Erynne; and nephew: Kyle. As well as stepdaughters Lisa Antocci (husband David) of Cumberland, RI and Devyn Thomas of Taunton; her stepson: Chris Monteiro (wife Meagan) of Washington.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday June 4, 2018 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 4-7 P.M.
Interment will be private.
