On May 7, 2018 Irma J. Seitz, 92, of Oak Crest Village, Parkville, MD. She was the wife of the late Dr. Charles A. Seitz, and the daughter of the late Walter P. and Irma C. Myers (nee Schanze). Dear sister of Charles L. Myers and the late Edna Glaser, Vernon Myers, Louise Moan and Edward Myers. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews including: Nancy Boulden (Urie), Bill Kollinger (Millicent), Sharon Kline, Kathy Piet (Patrick), Kenneth Myers (Jill), Steve Myers (Michele) and Anne Risaliti (David). She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, special friends Raquel and John McGuire, Gladys Reed and her extended Oak Crest Village family.
Irma was a “Pioneer” at Oak Crest Village where she resided for nearly 23 years, creating and organizing numerous programs for the residents that still exist today. She was the volunteer extraordinaire and encouraged new residents to embrace their new lives in retirement. It is an understatement to say that she will be missed by many.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 9th, at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Oak Crest Village. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Oak Crest Village Benevolent Fund or to the Oak Crest Village Scholars Fund, 8800 Walther Blvd., Parkville, MD 21234
