Margaret Eda Carroll, 96, of Louisville, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018.
She was a member of Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church for 80 years, where she was part of the Rose Circle; and was very active in the Louisville Girls High Alumni Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Carroll.
Survivors include her children, Pamela Prince, Michael Carroll and Valerie Desmond (Joseph); grandchildren Abby Desmond (AJ) and Patrick Desmond (Leigha); and one great grandchild, Kayden.
“Mom, you have given so much and asked for so little in return. Thank you for always being there for us, for teaching us, listening to us, helping and forgiving us, loving us, and always, always paving the way for us. We will work so hard to reach the standard you set. Farewell sweet mama. You were simply magnificent.”
A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church, 318 St. Catherine Street.
